One kick by Chelsea Cain

Kick Lannigan has taught herself to be dangerous. She can pick any lock, throw any knife, and fire any weapon. When John Bishop shows up and asks her to help rescue some missing kids, she is reasonable wary. John appears to have unlimited funds, high-level contacts, and details of Kick’s background that no one should have access too. For Kick, whose interest in kidnapping is deeply personal, partnering with Bishop is a risk worth taking.

This is the first book in the Kick Lannigan Series and it captured the reviewer’s attention on the first page. The non-stop action, and twists in abundance did not let it go until the very end. If you like fast-paced thrillers this book may be for you!
