The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney

The Nest is the term the four Plumb siblings call the joint trust fund which their late Father set up so that each of them would receive a modest midlife supplement. The investment did much better than anyone would have predicted and now Leo, Jack, Beatrice and Melody are the dysfunctional adult children that are trying to beat each other to the prize.

This remarkable cast of characters brings to life what money does to relationships and the ties we share as a family. This is a debut novel for Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney and the reviewer plans on keeping their eyes open for more of her writing.
