The Season of You & Me by Robin Constantine

Cassidy Emmerich didn’t count on her boyfriend breaking up with her, just a few weeks before summer holidays. To avoid seeing him during the summer, she decides to spend time with her dad and his new family at their bed and breakfast in New Jersey and takes a job as a camp counselor close by.

This is Bryan Lakewood’s first summer back at camp as a counselor, since an accident left him paralyzed, and needing to use a wheelchair. He is ready to gain back some independence, and enjoy the summer, despite the fact that it will require some tough adjustments.

Cass is expecting a summer to mend her broken heart, Bryan is expecting a summer to reclaim his independence but neither of them is expecting to fall in love.

This book is well written, with alternating points of view from the two main characters which really allows the reader to feel what the characters are feeling. If you are in the mood for a fun, young adult, summer beach story this book is for you!
